Yiqi Zhang is a comic artist, researcher, illustrator and writer. She is currently a PhD candidate at University of the Arts London, London College of Communication.

Growing up in Beijing, China, Yiqi moved to the UK for study at the age of 23. This leads her to become aware of the cultural position of an author in the creative process, and to investigate in her PhD transnationalism in comic making from the perspective of a comic practitioner. Read more→

Yiqi is also an ex-atheist and a converted Christian. Artist, arts and comics are in her prayers, that the creation will be reconciled with the One True Creator in the world, through Christ and Christ alone.
