About

Yiqi Zhang is a comic artist, researcher, illustrator, and writer. She is currently a PhD candidate at University of the Arts London, London College of Communication.

Growing up in Beijing, China, Yiqi moved to the UK at 23 to further her studies. This experience has sparked her interest in the cultural position of authors in creative processes. Her PhD focuses on exploring transculturalism in comics making from the perspective of comics practitioners. Read more→

Formerly an atheist/agnostic, Yiqi converted to Christianity when she came to understand what it TRULY means. Artists, arts and comics are in her prayers, that the creation will be reconciled with the One True Creator of the world, through Christ and Christ alone. Discover more about Christianity →
